King's Gate Primary School was officially opened by HRH Princess Royal on Thursday 8th October 2020. The children and staff were thrilled to show HRH around our lovely new school.

- King's Gate Primary wins The Great Potato Competition organised by Amesbury Rugby Club and Amesbury WI.
- On Saturday 21st June 2025, King's Gate Primary School took part in the 2025 Amesbury Carnival. It was the first time since opening, that the carnival has taken place. Everyone had such a great day!
- On Wednesday 18th June, Year 4 spent the day being Anglo-Saxons.
